As a licensed cosmetologist since 2018, I have honed my craft to express my specific talents and cultivate lasting relationships with my clients. I have spent my time at Salon Kelektiv specializing in curated cutting techniques for all hair types, custom, lived-in color, and blonding, as well as soaking up any and all continuing education to further my skill set.

I am a licensed cosmetologist and self-taught makeup artist and body painter. I consider the human body to be a canvas. My artwork transforms faces and bodies. I love to study the latest trends in makeup and enjoy traveling to attend trade shows.

STYLIST

I've been a licensed cosmetologist since 2021. I am licensed in both Virginia and Maryland. I graduated from The Temple, a Paul Mitchell Partner School in Frederick, MD.

I could not ask for a better salon home. Along with doing hair, makeup is also a passion of mine! Working as a hairstylist truly does not feel like a job to me. I love the creativity I get to explore every day, learning new techniques, and the clients I get to bond with.

Since graduating from Staunton School of Cosmetology, I have been licensed for about a year and a half. I started in this industry as a salon assistant while I attended college majoring in Biology. I loved being in a creative environment and decided to make this my career.

I came to Salon Kelektiv to be surrounded by other amazing stylists that I can learn from and continue to grow. I enjoy transformation colors, blonding, lived-in color and maintaining overall hair health.

STYLIST

Being at Salon Kelektiv allows me the opportunity to work alongside other creative stylists. As a young stylist, I enjoy being able to consistently learn new techniques and share ideas.

Working with brunettes and creating lived in looks are some of my favorite services.

Beyond the salon chair, content creation is another passion of mine. From taking pictures to creating Reels for the salon, I love the whole process!

ASSISTANT MANAGER/LASH ARTIST

Karissa brings a variety of experience to her position of Assistant Manager. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2015 and a certified lash artist since 2021. Her passion for the industry, ability to connect with clients and the tremendous support she provides to our stylists, makes her a great asset to our leadership team.

Aside from all things beauty, she has an adorable dog, Vinny- or as we like to call him, "The Assistant to the Assistant Manager" - who adds an extra touch of warmth to our salon. He will be sure to brighten your day when he greets you at your next appointment!

Asha is the driving force that ensures SK is always on point— bringing quality and consistency to our work, and exceeding our customers’ expectations. She brings over a decade of experience as a licensed esthetician, and is the definition of a TASKMASTER. Our team loves having a leader who believes in our talent and craft and values our core principles of artistry, integrity and unity.
